1.) Keep your hands off your face! Your hands are incredibly dirty most of the time, often heavily covered with bacteria - and you probably don't even know it! This is due to the fact that we come into contact with things throughout the day which are literally bacteria-ridden cesspools - things we would never touch if we knew just what was on them. That being said, using your hands to frequently touch your face will definitely transfer bacteria to it, thereby leaving room for acne to develop and overrun your face quite quickly. Stop touching your face!

2.) Drink plenty of water. Water is one of those wonderfully simple ways that'll help keep the skin free of acne. It's vital to life and a natural detoxifier that will keep skin cells clean and free of free radicals which can do contribute toward clogged pores and acne build up. You don't have to be drin king water 24/7, but you should be drinking more of it than sodas, soft drinks, and caffeinated beverages. Don't think Coke counts as water, your body doesn't treat it the same. 3 L a day is something to aim for. Try getting a 3 L juice bottle and fill it every morning, knowing you have to consume it all in the day. Drinking fruit vegetable juices in addition to water is also a good idea, as such drinks come jam packed with vitamins antioxidants.

3.) Maintain an exercise routine. Many people don't care about how to prevent acne through exercise, even if it is an important aspect. By exercising on a consistent basis, you will be able to reduce stress, increase circulation blood flow, as well as improve oxygen penetration of the skin cells. The other magical factor? Sweat. 6. Baking Soda

Many tests have concluded that Baking soda has the ability to help heal acne scars and the associated dark spots. When used as a scrub baking soda gently exfoliates the skin.

Mix a small amount of of baking soda with just the right amount of water to create a thick paste then massage into your dark spots caused by pimples. 7.Red Onions

8. Buttermilk

The abundance of lactic acid found in buttermilk works great for lightening dark spots. And it’s also great for your over-all skin tone.
  • Dap a cotton ball into a bowl containing a small amount of buttermilk and apply it all over your dark spots.
  • Let it sit for at least 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
